Introducing
Community Connections
The Retake/Remake Community Connections program fosters community by providing educators and non-profit arts groups with needed supplies, free of charge. By sharing usable overstock materials, we help reduce the costs of your programming while increasing our impact, saving even more from the landfill.
Recipient Eligibility
We prioritize local non-profit organizations and public educators for receiving materials free of charge. Community organizations are invited to apply for materials when projects directly benefit a second non-profit organization or clearly meet a community need. Applications are reviewed based on expected impact and match to our overstock materials.
Material Availability
While our stock of materials changes week to week, we often have classroom basics, scrap paper for drawing and collage, and a range of craft materials. Our application allows prospective recipients to express interest in specific materials and we’ll do our best to make a match. Please note that most of the materials available for this program are reclaimed. While they're less than perfect, they still have a lot to offer for creative projects.
Back-to-School Give Back
Each fall, we host a Back-to-School event for educators where a large selection of classroom basics, decor, manipulatives, and other materials are available for free. While pre-registration is required to attend, teachers don’t need to use the Community Connections application to receive materials during this event.
